Morgan L. Levy, MD
Dr. Levy received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Texas A&M University and a medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. He completed a residency in psychiatry at UTMB and fellowships in geriatric psychiatry and in neurobehavior at The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He received grant funding from The Veteran’s Administration to study Alzheimer disease.
He served on the faculty at UCLA and at The Wake Forest University Medical Center. He did research on behavioral aspects of dementing illnesses and is published in numerous professional journals. The American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry bestowed on him the title “Best Researcher in Training” for his work on Alzheimer disease.
Dr. Levy was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1995. He went on full disability in 2004 and retired from clinical practice. Then, he re-invented himself by writing books and publishing them for free on-line at this site.
He used to speak as an expert to professional audiences but now he speaks as an authority to lay audiences. He gives a very dynamic and interactive talk on Human Sexuality, Alternative Medicine, The Race Myth and The Brain That Does Religion.
